After an extensive rehabilitation project, the Dupont Circle Fountain - formally known as the Rear Admiral Samuel Francis Dupont Memorial Fountain - is flowing again. The statue and fountain were designed by Henry Bacon and Daniel Chester French, the same team responsible for the Lincoln Memorial. Now properly balanced and waterproofed, the fountain will run until cold temperatures require it to be winterized. Video by National Park Service.
