Federal agents fatally shot a man this morning in south Minneapolis, setting off confrontations between protesters and agents at the scene. The Department of Homeland Security said the man, Alex Pretti, was armed with a gun and two magazines of ammunition. Law enforcement sources said Saturday that their records show Pretti, a U.S. citizen, had no serious criminal history.
