The Blue Wash Trail near Carefree is a hidden gem for families who love a little adventure! This 2.8-mile out-and-back hike follows two sandy washes and leads to a scenic waterfall. Even after dry months, there’s often still water to splash in, which makes it a favorite with kids. (As of 11/4 - there is water!) The hike begins on a wide dirt path that slopes downhill, then narrows into a rocky wash. There are no trail signs or markers, so it’s helpful to bring a map or take screenshots before yo
