Beer kegs float along a street in Cork after heavy flooding hit the city. Significant flooding has been reported in Cork city and county following this morning's high tide. Many streets in the city are under up to a metre of water, and while flood warnings had been issued in advance, the speed at which the flood waters rose appear to have taken many people by surprise. The streets affected are the South Mall, Oliver Plunkett St, Malboro St, Princes St, Pembroke St and extending onto Patrick St.
