Usually when I’m driving or hiking into a park around sunset EVERYONE IS LEAVING and it baffles me that most people don’t stay to see the sunset when the colors of the sandstone looks super vibrant or stay after dark to see the insane dark night skies!! Maybe that’s a good thing as often times you can have iconic places to yourself and meet small groups of people who really appreciate the night sky as well.
