On January 21, 1990 the 3rd annual WWF Royal Rumble was held in front of 16,000 fans at the Orlando Arena in Orlando, Florida. The main event was a 30-man Royal Rumble match, which was won by WWF World Heavyweight Champion Hulk Hogan, who last eliminated Mr. Perfect. On August 27, 1990 the WWF’s third annual SummerSlam was held in front of 19,304 fans at The Spectrum in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In the final match on the card, WWF World Heavyweight Champion The Ultimate Warrior put his title on the line against “Ravishing” Rick Rude (with Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) in a steel cage match. Warrior and Rude had been feuding since the 1989 Royal Rumble. Rude left the WWF in late 1990 due to a dispute with the company about money. The Warrior held the WWF World
