Snow Hill Station was once the main station for the Great Western Railway in Birmingham and once rivalled New Street Station. The station has been rebuilt several times over the years with the first built as a wooden hut in 1852. A more permanent station was rebuilt in 1871 and then on a grander scale from 1906 to 1912.
