Gator going for my head! Darth gator here likes to target my head, he’s often the best behaved when stationing and following training, but like I always say trained is NOT tamed and once I break training he see opportunity and tries to take my head off! Notice that once they realize I have control still how they calm back down, they’re very smart and calculating. Four days out of the wild with this gator! Check that out!! This gator has a very calm disposition, but it’s also in how I’m very gently handling it and how I move. It’s hard to explain and most people won’t understand, but the way you love and act has monumental impact on the animal. So much goes into training, including this animal’s very naturally calm disposition. I think the name we’re going with for this one is “little guapo” 😂. All the gators are rescue nuisance gators. Gator training! Training just like a dog, but the Gator is nothing like a dog! I’ve worked with Casper 17yrs and he doesn’t see as his friend, provider, master, none of that. Those are also all concepts he doesn’t understand whatsoever 😂. They’re gators not dogs, I don’t feed them beforehand and even if I did it wouldn’t make a difference. You can’t “feed them enough” to make them nice, they don’t get satiated and I’ve literally watched one eat so much food he puked it up and ate it again. It’s

Big angry gator!! Seven being mad as I drain his pond and hissing at me! And checkout that nictitating membrane!! The nictitating membrane is a transparent membrane used to protect the eye! I also vut off this video before touching/interacting with him since tiktok flags everything I post as “dangerous acts”, so I removed myself from the post and remind everyone im a trained professional, never attempt. Giant aggressive gator!!🐊 Actually, he’s not aggressive, he’s being defensive and mad that I’m going to clean his pond! He hates bath time😂. Look how tall he stands up!! Check out that huge bulge at the neck, that’s the jaw MUSCLE! Huge!! He definitely works out 💪 . There is no pressure point under the jaw, touching there does nothing to the gator, no trick. It’s just safest place to grab to not get bit and try to guide/control the head, and that’s no guarantee. A guy I know slipped on that o

Wild gator handling! This is how all the “nice” gators you see me working with start when they’re first caught! This is a freshly caught rescue nuisance gator and is NOT aggressive, but defensive, it doesn’t yet understand that I am not going to hurt him and am not a threat, but repeatedly handling him like this will make him realize I don’t hurt him. This is part of the “mellowing out” process. Seeing a gator act like this upsets people, but this is the reality of the work we do, if you don’t h

Look at the size of this gator!! Lifting Seven’s tail up to show his size off some! Alligator tails are incredibly powerful and their main source of swimming power! A lot of people ask about them trying to hit you with their tail, they will defensively swing the tail but it’s not like they use it to attack, silly to use the tail when you’ve got jaws that can crush a skull! TAMING THE BEAST…or is it GATOR WHISPERER…or maybe, maybe it’s actually just being calm and gently talking to an animal like it’s intelligent enough to understand through my tone and actions and past interactions that I mean it no harm. Yep, that’s what it is. 😉 Guys, I would make soooo much money if I just claimed I had supernatural powers and played into it, but I like actually explaining things better😂. Big gator totally thought he got me! It’ll be hard to tell for people that don’t understand gator behavior well, but for me and George it was very clear here that Seven thought he had me! His entire demeanor changed, the look in his eyes, and his behavior was very different from how he normally acts! I know it won’t look like much to most people, but this was a dramatic change to me and George!! A great reminder of what I’m constantly saying, that no matter how trained and “gentle” they seem, th

Finding gator teeth, fresh from the source🐊🤪. All crocodilians naturally shed and regrow their teeth, cycling through several thousand in a lifetime! Talking about gator teeth! Normally when an alligator closes it’s mouth the bottom row of teeth fit into sockets in the upper jaw, so only the top row is visible, but there are some unusual gators like muttley here! Maybe he just needs braces 😂. It’s not that uncommon to see some goofy teeth like this, but the norm is to not have the bottom teeth visible when the jaws are closed.
