Earlier this week, the Chico Police Department hosted the 3rd annual House of Worship and Faith-Based Organization Safety Symposium, aimed at equipping leaders, volunteers, and community members with the knowledge and tools to navigate incidents necessitating emergency response within their respective organizations. Members from a wide range of spiritual communities were in attendance- our highest yet- for our program centered around education, collaboration, and practical steps for preparedness
