On March 19, 1955 Carl Perkins released "Movie Magg" and "Turn Around" were released on Flip Records, a subsidiary of Sun Records. They were recorded at Sun Studios but Sam Phillips did not want to release it on Sun Records because he did not want two Sun artists targeting the same audience (Perkins and Presley).
