One thing I often do in my practice is help parents understand how children think, feel, and behave differently at each developmental stage. We cannot and should not expect children to operate like adults. They are not miniature adults. This video shows a 3-5 year-old children in what Piaget called the pre-operational stage (typically ages 3–7). At this stage, children can focus on only one striking feature of a situation at a time. Their decisions are driven by what is most perceptually obvious

The Pledge of Allegiance promises liberty and justice for all. Team Ink Theory changes one word, and the entire promise is placed on trial. At the Brave New Voices 2026 Finals, the poets transform the language of American citizenship into a confrontation with racial injustice, policing, constitutional rights, and the distance between what a nation guarantees and what its people experience. “One nation under supremacy with liberty and justice for some.” The performance moves through the Bill of R

Some people are naturally observant. They notice the little things, the shifts in energy, the things left unsaid. They spend more time observing than speaking, taking in details that others might overlook. Sometimes, it makes them feel a little different. They enjoy their own company, not because they don’t want connection, but because finding people who see the world the way they do can feel rare 🌻 #mindset #selfgrowth #SelfImprovement #cinematic #cinematography
