Jun 6, 2023 · omf is useful when you export a video file with audio in omf format from like premiere pro, it can then be imported to a daw that supports omf format and all the audio clips will be aligned to correct time stamp so it won't be 1hr audio clip with 2 sec of data for a 1hr film, it will be a 2 sec audio clip placed at the timestamp it's set to in 1hr duration.
