The Texas Rangers can now reinsert an impact bat into their lineup as they continue a critical road trip to close out the season’s first half. The Rangers activated outfielder Wyatt Langford (left oblique strain) after a stint on the 10-day injured list before Saturday’s game against the San Diego Padres at Petco Park.

Prior to Saturday night’s game, the Texas Rangers activated outfielder Wyatt Langford from the 10 day injured list. To make room for him on the active roster, the Rangers optioned infielder Justin Foscue to AAA Round Rock.

The Rangers bounced back from an extra-inning collapse in the series opener against the Padres, as Wyatt Langford made his return from injury.
