Officials say Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will be visiting an ammunition factory in Scranton. The Associated Press reports that Volodymyr Zelenskyy will visit the Scranton Army Ammunition Plant on Sunday.

The Ukrainian president is expected to visit the Scranton Army Ammunition Plant before addressing the U.N. General Assembly this week in New York.

During his visit to the US, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will visit a facility that manufactures artillery shells supplied to Ukraine for its fight against Russian forces, according to the Associated Press (AP).

With the war now well into its third year, Zelenskyy has been pushing the U.S. for permission to use longer range missile systems to fire deeper inside of Russia.
