Royal Caribbean’s newest innovation aboard Star of the Seas, their latest Icon-class megaship, is Find My Kid, a feature that is set up to give the entire family a more seamless cruise experience. Find My Kid is a brand-new feature in the Royal Caribbean app that allows parents to see their children’s locations onboard via deck maps.

Boarding Royal Caribbean International's second Icon-class ship for a preview sailing the week after spending five days on the Utopia of the Seas brought the size picture into relief. While the Star is larger than the Utopia, it carries fewer passengers, resulting in more space per passenger.

Specialty dining venues include Chops Grille, a steakhouse, Izumi Hibachi & Sushi, Hooked Seafood and Giovanni’s Italian. The most upscale and exclusive dining option is the Lincoln Park Supper Club, a formal venue with “sultry live jazz,” upscale plates and a very limited seating capacity.
