After achieving his first PGA Tour win in the Rocket Classic, Potgieter jumps all the way to 41 in the PGA money leader rankings. He now sits on $2.95 million after winning $1.72 million in the Rocket Classic.

Aldrich Potgieter became the 7th-youngest PGA Tour winner since the start of 1983, and the youngest player from South Africa ever to win on Tour.

While Aldrich is young for PGA Tour standards overall he is particularly young relative to South African standards. By earning his win at his current age Aldrich became the youngest winner on Tour ever from South Africa. Previously Garrick Higgo held that mark with a win at the age of 22 back during the 2021 season.
