Seven individuals were arrested by Odisha police after an Army officer and his fiancée were reportedly assaulted by miscreants. The government has suspended five police officials and called for a judicial probe into the matter.

Bhubaneswar: A local court here on Saturday granted bail to seven engineering students accused of attacking an army officer and misbehaving with his fiancée on September 15 night.

The video surfaced days after an Army officer and his fiancee, Ankita Pradhan, alleged that they were subjected to sexual and physical abuse by cops at the Bharatpur Police Station in Bhubaneswar where they had gone to file a complaint in connection with the late-night attack.
