Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson Jr. won't suit up during the team's preseason matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.

On Sunday, NFL Insider Jordan Schultz reported that the Washington Commanders were shopping running back Brian Robinson Jr. Robinson is entering the final year of his rookie contract, but seventh-round draft pick Jacory Croskey-Merritt has flashed through camp and is a lock to make the final 53-man roster.

Myles Garrett requested a trade from the Cleveland Browns, who answered back with a record-setting contract extension. The Bengals might be playing hardball, but they will likely have to produce a contract around the same amount as Garrett's to keep Hendrickson from walking out of the building.
