Days after taking charge as the new Delhi Chief Minister, Rekha Gupta met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, at his residence on Saturday, February 22. Taking to X, Gupta shared some pictures from her visit and wrote,

Prime Minister Narendra Modi met the Amir of Qatar, Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani at the Hyderabad House in New Delhi on Tuesday where the two leaders held delegation-level talks. Upon arrival, the two leaders exchanged pleasantries and shook hands.

Both of them had met during the oath-taking ceremony at Ramlila Maidan on February 20 too while the PM attended the event along with Union Home Minister Amit Shah and various other NDA leaders.

Rekha Gupta became the President of the Delhi University Students' Union (DUSU) in 1996-97 and actively raised student issues.
