League games, the 2025 Charlotte Hornets rookie class has looked solid. Summer League often means very little when it comes to translating

Charlotte Hornets rookies Ryan Kalkbrenner and Kon Knueppel dominated NBA Summer League, with Knueppel earning MVP honors as Charlotte won their first championship.

The Hornets already have LaMelo Ball and Brandon Miller. If Knueppel can join them as an effective-out-of-the-gates third perimeter piece, that's a team that can win a solid total of games in the banged-up Eastern Conference.

Kon Knueppel and Cooper Flagg began their NBA careers this year, with the former Duke teammates both landing in the Top 5 of this year's draft.
