The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, based in the nation's capital and funded via a public-private partnership, has eliminated its dance programming team

The Kennedy Center laid off its dance programming division, and executives producing Broadway shows and the Kennedy Center Honors have resigned.

With President Trump recently taking over as chair of the board of the Kennedy Center, he has announced that Tiffany’s will be redesigning those medallions for the next honors ceremony. WTOP talked with the family who has been making the awards since the very first ceremony 47 years ago.
