Twenty-one federal tech employees resigned instead of helping DOGE, saying they will not use their skills to "dismantle critical public services."

Some federal agencies, including the State and Defense Departments, told their employees not to respond to an email asking for a list of tasks they completed.

Federal workers across agencies told Business Insider they were frustrated and upset by the DOGE productivity email sent Saturday.
