President Donald Trump announced that he signed a "Major Disaster Declaration" for the deadly floods in Texas Hill Country in a post on Truth Social Sunday. The declaration comes as rescue and recovery operations enter a third day following the devastating floods.

Officials said more than 850 people had been rescued after a sudden storm dumped up to 15 inches of rain across the region.
