Khalen Saunders’ recent trade from the New Orleans Saints to the Jacksonville Jaguars came as a surprise, especially given the unique circumstances of how he learned about it.

Khalen Saunders is welcoming a change of scenery. A two-time Super Bowl champion nose tackle with Kansas City, Saunders was traded from New Orleans to Jacksonville on Sunday and made his practice debut with the Jaguars two days later.

News broke on Sunday night that the Jacksonville Jaguars were making a trade with the New Orleans Saints for veteran defensive tackle Khalen Saunders. It was later reported that the Jaguars were trading away offensive lineman Luke Fortner to complete the deal.
