LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — One person was killed as a result of a wildfire in western Nebraska, authorities confirmed on Friday. According to the Arthur County Sheriff’s Office, one person was killed in the wildfire in Morrill County.
An active wildfire burns in Anderson County, threatening nearby areas with high winds aiding its spread. Firefighters are on scene as the blaze remains uncontrolled.
