Three people have been taken into custody for allegedly being involving in the kidnapping and murder of a 25-year-old in Phoenix.

Phoenix police say three suspects are now in custody in connection with a murder case where a man was kidnapped and shot to death more than five years ago.

A suspect is facing several felony charges in connection to a 2024 sexual assault and murder in the Maryvale neighborhood of Phoenix.

Israel DeVoe, who was repeatedly punched and kneed during a traffic stop has filed a $2.5 million notice of claim against the City of Phoenix and multiple police officers.
