HOGANSVILLE, Ga. — The National Weather Service (NWS) has confirmed that an EF-0 tornado touched down in Troup County during the early morning storms on Sunday, Feb. 16. According to the NWS, the tornado first touched down at 4:25 a.m. northeast of Hogansville off Highway 29, where numerous trees were snapped and uprooted.
PORTLAND, Ore. — Multiple Tornado Warnings were issued for the Portland metro Monday evening amid a heavy windstorm that could bring gusts up to 50 mph.
Meteorologists said that just after 5:40 p.m., a “severe thunderstorm” that could generate a tornado was moving near Molalla at 50 mph, according to radar.
