President Donald Trump hosted the first cabinet meeting of his second term Wednesday morning. At his side was Elon Musk, who the president tasked with rooting out waste to slash the size of government.

During the first Cabinet meeting of Trump’s second administration, Elon Musk -- who is not a Cabinet member -- is seated to Trump’s back right. He does not have a seat at that table. Trump is seated directly across from Vice President JD Vance, while being flanked by Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.

Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins kicked off the 2025 Top Producer Summit on Tuesday morning, detailing her plan to advocate for trade. ‘We want to find market access for all our products,’ Rollins said.
