Kansas City Chiefs wideout DeAndre Hopkins is looking forward to the opportunity to play meaningful football against his former team

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins will face the Houston Texans in the Divisional Round of the playoffs this week. Hopkins rested in Week 18 with the rest of the starters, making it nearly three weeks since he last suited up.

There are eight teams left in the NFL playoffs, leaving fantasy players with limited options to build their weekly lineups. However, there are plenty of talented players left in the playoffs, especially at the wide receiver position.

The Kansas City Chiefs traded for DeAndre Hopkins midway through the season, back when the two-time defending Super Bowl champs had lost wide receivers Marquise Brown and Rashee Rice to injuries, and the hope was that the three-time All-Pro could help to stabilize a position group that had struggled for years.

And Collins surpassed former Texans Pro Bowl wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins’ franchise playoff receiving yardage record in the process, catching seven passes for 122 yards and one score on eight targets. Hopkins had 118 yards in a 2019 divisional round loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

That player is DeAndre Hopkins. DeAndre Hopkins could retire today and walk into the Hall of Fame. He's a five time Pro Bowler, and three time 1st team All Pro, and a two time 2nd team All Pro.
