STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- In response to President Trump’s move to end New York City congestion pricing on Wednesday, Gov. Kathy Hochul has said that she will not end the tolling program.

Gov. Kathy Hochul doubled down on her defense of New York’s congestion pricing toll Wednesday as the federal government seeks to kill the program.

Hochul and Trump met at the Oval Office for more than an hour for a “frank, candid conversation about New York’s key priorities including congestion pricing, immigration, infrastructure, economic development, energy, offshore wind and nuclear power,” confirmed Hochul spokesman Avi Small Saturday.
