Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler maker Simple Energy on Tuesday unveiled an upgraded motor for its flagship scooter, Simple One, which will be delivered to customers from June onwards.

Soon, though, radial flux generators and motors became the norm. The simple explanation is that in a radial system, the magnetic flux lines are perpendicular to the axis of rotation.
