A supposed Minecraft RCE hack is impacting many servers that use certain mods and mod packs, putting some players' PCs in danger of being exploited.

Since the server is single-threaded, having more than 100 players on a single server can slow it to a crawl. Some mods try to optimize and speed up the existing server but [Jackson] wanted more.
