MATTOON — Adults are encouraged to participate in a quilting class, Modern Day Quilts: Clamshell, to be offered in February and March.

Quilting patterns include outline on the pieced squares; parallel lines and 1½-inch diagonal grid on the un-pieced squares; and, clamshell on the border. It is quilted 8 stitches per inch.
