Rahaman Ali, the younger brother of Muhammad Ali and a former boxer, has died at the age of 82, the Muhammad Ali Center in Louisville, Kentucky, said Saturday.

Noted in the Muhammad Ali Center's news release, Rahaman Ali followed in his older brother’s footsteps and had a professional boxing career of his own, which spanned from 1964 to 1972.

The Muhammad Ali record goes as follows: Across 21 years as a professional, Ali won 56 fights (37 by knockout) and lost only 5. Among his 61 bouts, several stand as watershed moments in boxing.
