Valve has announced the upcoming end of support of Stem on older macOS versions, namely High Sierra (10.13) and Mojave (10.14). Those two are the final macOS releases with 32-bit application support.

Steam has kept support for macOS Mojave and macOS High Sierra alive so far to keep 32-bit games running on older Macs, but that support is ending on February 15.

The Steam store will stop considering games that offer only 32-bit macOS binaries to be Mac compatible at the end of 2023. 98%+ of Steam customers on Mac are already running macOS 10.15 or newer.
