Sidney Crosby and Nathan MacKinnon are reuniting on Team Canada at the 2025 IIHF World Championship, and that might only be just the start of a longer relationship between both forwards, according to NHL insider Elliotte Friedman.

Sidney Crosby and Nathan MacKinnon will bring their Nova Scotia swagger to the IIHF World Championship in Sweden and Denmark. Crosby was added to Team Canada’s roster for the upcoming tournament late Sunday.

As of today, a few headline names have already been reported to attend this year’s tournament. Most notably, Sidney Crosby (Pittsburgh Penguins), Nathan MacKinnon (Colorado Avalanche), and Marc-André Fleury (Minnesota Wild) are all set to suit up for Team Canada.
