Texas football safety Michael Taaffe won’t be suiting up for the Longhorns when they play Michigan in the Citrus Bowl on Dec. 31, a team spokesperson confirmed to the American-Statesman on Monday afternoon.
AUSTIN — The Texas football program has fired running backs coach Chad Scott, according to multiple reports Tuesday. Scott joined the Longhorns last offseason after highly-regarded running backs coach Tashard Choice left to be part of Dan Campbell’s staff with the NFL’s Detroit Lions .
