The Trump administration will move the FBI headquarters from the storied Brutalist-era J. Edgar Hoover building to the Ronald Reagan Building blocks away, it said Tuesday.

State, federal and local officials who fought for years to bring the new FBI headquarters to Prince George's County said Tuesday the fight is not over, after the surprise Trump administration announcement that the agency will stay downtown.

The FBI will move its headquarters to a building complex blocks away from its current home in Washington, the agency announced on Tuesday, setting up an end to a drawn-out battle over the agency’s new home.
