Thierry Henry has encouraged new Arsenal signing Eberechi Eze to “make it count”. Eze completed his £67.5million move from Crystal Palace on Saturday, becoming the Gunners’ seventh major signing of a busy summer transfer window. Having previously been on Arsenal’s books as a youngster, this transfer represents a homecoming for the 27-year-old.

Tottenham remain in the market for a centre-back and Marc Guehi has long been linked with a move across London. The Palace skipper is now in the final 12 months of his contract at Selhurst Park and, despite his willingness to play out the remainder of his deal, a sale is on the cards this week.
