A group of suspects smashed through a 7-Eleven in Alexandria, Virginia with a pickup truck and broke apart an ATM early Tuesday morning, police say. Alexandria police received a call at about 2 a.m. about an ATM robbery at 331 South Whiting Street.

The front windows of a 7-Eleven in Alexandria were smashed after people drove a truck into the store and tried to take the ATM. The incident happened at the location on South Whiting Street early Tuesday morning.

Police in Alexandria are continuing to investigate after people tried to steal an ATM from a 7-Eleven store early Tuesday morning. Employees say this isn't the first time something like this has happened at the store.
