Spring may be almost here, but it might not feel like it for millions facing alerts for wintry weather, including heavy snow, possible tornadoes and high winds

Over the weekend, the Midwest and Great Lakes was bombarded with blizzard conditions and record-setting snow. Fortunately, this brutal weather will be winding down throughout Monday, but not before it continues wreaking havoc on travel in the region.

Blizzard warnings are in effect for Most of Iowa. Here's what to expect as high winds and snow produce dangerous conditions across the state.

The order directs all state agencies, including the Wisconsin National Guard, to "assist as appropriate in the response and recovery effort."
