The nighttime assault, combined with shelling of frontline areas, caused power outages in the capital as well as the Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Cherkasy, and Kirovohrad oblasts. Emergency repair work by rescuers and energy crews is underway where security conditions permit.
