A Long Island Rail Road train smashed into a car at a railroad crossing on Monday evening — igniting a fiery wreck and injuring three passengers, according to authorities. The Ronkonkoma-bound passenger train from Jamaica was traveling east when it struck a vehicle at the Little East Neck Road crossing east of the Pinelawn station at around 7:15 p.
