The last outage for Outlook came in June when we quipped that Microsoft is so keen for users to migrate to the New Outlook email client that it appeared to have broken Classic Outlook… again. On that occasion, the reported issues emerged on virtual desktop infrastructure.
Now, another issue has cropped up: Outlook is crashing when many different emails are opened at once. Microsoft is aware of both problems and currently working on permanent fixes for both.
If your classic Outlook application crashes when you forward, write or reply to an email, you can temporarily fix this issue with a few simple steps.
In a recent support article, Microsoft acknowledged that Outlook may crash when you start a new email or when you reply to or forward an existing email. Well, fret no more because a fix is afoot.
