WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WBTV) - A Wake Forest legend and former NBA basketball player died this past week, the university said. Rodney Rogers -- who starred for the Demon Deacons from 1991-1993 -- passed away on Friday, Nov. 21.

Former NBA Star and Celtics player Rodney Rogers has died.

Although Rodney was only in New Jersey for two seasons, he was a critical part of the team that made it to the NBA Finals in 2003 and the Conference Semifinals in 2004.
