On Wednesday afternoon/evening, the skies begin to clear out with a breezy, chilly night ahead. Temperatures look to cool down from the 60s to the 50s Thursday through Sunday.

Valentine's weekend will be a soaker across the South, with locally heavy rain and a few severe thunderstorms possible from Texas to Florida to the Carolinas and Virginia.
