If you'd like to test the new Windows 11 Start menu, with apps in recommended category folders and other helpful functionality, this is how you try it.

Windows will then ask you whether you want to start the app or pin it to “Start.” If you choose the second option, the Copilot logo will appear in the Start menu.

While Windows 11 still doesn't let you manually resize the Start menu, this new iteration does automatically adjust based on the screen size.
