First, before we go on, do know that winter is not over. This weather pattern change looks to last at least a week, starting next Monday. It could last longer, but we will still have several wintry cold fronts in the second half of February and March, bringing winter back to Michigan.
Michigan residents are in for another week cooped up indoors, as heavy snow, winds and Arctic air remains in the forecast. See details.
Skies will remain mostly cloudy tonight with overnight temperatures falling to the low to mid teens. A light westerly breeze will keep wind chills around 10° into Tuesday morning. The normal high and low temperatures for this time of year are 32° and 19°. We’ll stay below those numbers for the next few days.
Southeast Michigan is under a high wind warning until 9 p.m. Monday, with gusts of up to 55-60 miles per hour expected. See the latest radar.
