Los Angeles Police Department officers have identified the suspect who was killed after a pursuit turned into a deadly shooting​ involving police on the 405 Freeway in Westchester on Friday morning.

Thomas Hearn was identified by the LAPD as the armed suspect fatally shot by officers following a police chase and shooting on the northbound 405 Freeway near LAX.

Officers responded to a report of a robbery around 4:15 a.m. in the 5800 block of Manchester Avenue, according to Los Angeles police.
