Tottenham have been urged to hijack a Chelsea transfer deal after missing out on Eberechi Eze to Arsenal. Spurs were closing in on a significant deal for England star Eze before their north London rivals Arsenal swooped in and agreed a deal with Crystal Palace.

Eberechi Eze is set to join Arsenal, despite Tottenham previously being confident of a deal, while Spurs also missed out on Nottingham Forest star Morgan Gibbs-White earlier in the summer.

According to GiveMeSport, the west Londoners are haggling over price, and to avoid being forced to sanction a cut-price sale with no other suitors bidding, United have given the "green light" for Tottenham to move for Garnacho.
